Perhaps buying a phone case is too simple, or there really isn’t a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 cover that piqued his interest. Either way, Reddit user Skarface08 decided to modify his Samsung Galaxy Note 5 smartphone’s rear cover into a clear back casing. The end result is an interesting (and cleanly done) Note 5 mod where you can partially see the internal system.

According to the technician who works at US telco Sprint, the modification required a heat gun to make the removal easier, a suction cup to pry the Note 5’s rear off, and a razor blade to remove the plastic film on the cover. After the film removal is done, the tinker simply placed the cover back onto the Note 5. Apparently, removing the film does not affect the brand or phone model’s logo in any way.

We must say that doing such modifications to the smartphone will clearly void any warranty you have with Samsung. The user seems to have experience dealing with such mods, since also did the same to a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge.
