Samsung Galaxy Note 5 to have bigger display and thinner design with Type-C port?
If the latest leaks are true, Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Note 5 is going to be another showstopper.
According to inside sources and ex-Samsung employees, the Galaxy Note 5 will sport a 5.9-inch Quad-HD display and a 7.9mm thin chassis. It will also come with a larger 4,100mAh battery and a more powerful Exynos processor than the one found in the Galaxy S6 models. In comparison, the Galaxy Note 4 has a 5.7-inch Quad-HD display, a 8.5mm thin chassis and a 3,220mAh battery.
What's even more interesting is the inclusion of a USB Type-C port, which debut on the 12-inch Apple MacBook to much criticism. The benefits of Type-C port are more apparent on a phablet; the battery gets charged faster and 4K video streaming will be smoother.
Besides these alleged specs, Samsung may also incorporate a new automatic ejectable S Pen stylus on the Galaxy Note 5. As with previous launches, you can expect to see the Galaxy Note 5 at IFA 2015 in September.
