Samsung Galaxy Note 5 to come with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM?
The era of 4GB RAM in smartphones is here as Samsung is reportedly pushing it on the upcoming Galaxy Note 5.
According to SamMobile, its reliable insiders claim that the Galaxy Note 5 will be equipped with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM. This will put the Galaxy Note 5 on par with the upcoming OnePlus 2. LPDDR4 not only promises lower power consumption, it also provides double the bandwidth performance at the same power consumption profile when compared to LPDDR3.
The Wall Street Journal reported last week that Samsung will be launching the Galaxy Note 5 in mid-August. It is said to sport a 5.7-inch Quad-HD Super AMOLED display, an Exynos 7422 processor, a non-removable 4,100mAh battery and possibly a new automatic ejectable S Pen.
