Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime available in Singapore from 19 November

Samsung's latest Galaxy J5 Prime, an entry-level smartphone, will be available in Singapore from 19 November in white gold and black. Priced at S$298 (without line contract and inclusive of GST), the Galaxy J5 Prime can be purchased at all local telcos, selected major consumer electronics and IT stores, authorized mobile retailers and Samsung Experience Stores.

The Galaxy J5 Prime is equipped with a 5-inch HD TFT LCD display, a quad-core 1.4GHz processor, 2GB RAM, Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, 16GB internal storage space with microSD support up to 256GB and a 2,400mAh non-removable battery.

Other specs include a 13-megapixel f/1.9 camera, LED flash, 5-megapixel front-facing f/2.2 camera, Bluetooth 4.2, a fingerprint sensor and an 8.1mm thin chassis. Samsung is also sponsoring the Galaxy J5 Prime to be used at the Road Safety Community Park where the new Road Safety Community Park app will be preloaded and used for road safety training sessions from the new school year.
