One month after teasing the "Infinity U, V and O" displays, Samsung just unveiled the world's first phone with the Infinity "O" display which has a hole-punch design at the top left corner.

The Galaxy A8s has an almost bezel-less display thanks to the cutout on the front that houses a 24- megapixel selfie camera. The display measures 6.4-inches with 19:5:9 aspect ratio and a Full HD+ resolution of 2,340 x 1,080 pixels.

The midrange phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710, 6/8GB RAM, 128GB internal storage space with microSD support up to 512GB, a triple-lens system (24MP f/1.7 + 5MP f/2.2 + 10MP with 2X optical zoom) and a rear fingerprint sensor.

Pre-orders for the Galaxy A8s will begin on 21 December in China. It's unknown at the time of publication whether the Galaxy A8s will be available in other markets.
