Samsung unveils the Exynos 880 chipset for 5G midrange phones

Samsung just unveiled its latest 5G mobile chipset, the Exynos 880. 

The Exynos 880 comes with 2.0GHz dual-core (Cortex-A77) and 1.8GHz hexa-core (Cortex-A55) with Mali G76 MP5 GPU and an integrated NPU. It is built on an 8nm FinFET process.

It supports 5G's sub-6GHz with download speeds of up to 2.55Gbps and upload speeds of up to 1.28Gbps. Download speeds can be higher when paired with E-UTRA-NR Dual Connectivity that combines 5G and LTE capabilities. 

Other features include support for Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, single-camera up to 64MP, dual-camera (20MP + 20MP), 4K 30fps video recording, and display resolutions up to Full HD+ (2,560 x 1080 pixels).
