Samsung extends partnership with IOC for another 10 years

Samsung announced that it has extended its partnership with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for another decade. 

Samsung will continue to play the role as a Worldwide Olympic Partner in the wireless communications equipment and computing equipment category. The South Korean company can also promote AI, AR, VR and 5G features of the equipment. 

IOC and Samsung will further develop their strategic digital collaboration to engage the younger generations around the world to promote the power of sports and the values of Olympism. 

The Athlete Phone Program, where all participating Olympic and Paralympic athletes will receive Limited Olympic Edition Galaxy phones, will continue to enhance athletes’ Games time experience, keep in touch with friends and family members, and share their journeys.
