The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra could lose one telephoto lens according to tipster UniverseIce.

The tipster claims Samsung might drop the 3x telephoto lens and use a continuous periscope zoom lens that can deliver better image quality at intermediate zoom ranges such as 4x, 7x and 9x. Another possible reason could be the new 200MP camera sensor; it could deliver image quality from 3x digital zoom that is comparable to 3x optical zoom.

The Galaxy S24 lineup might consist of two models only, the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Ultra. TheElec claims there is no indication of a Plus model in the works. Exynos chipsets could also make a return on the Galaxy S24 lineup with mass production of Exynos 2400 starting in November this year.
