Samsung acknowledges display issues on Galaxy S24 Ultra, says software fix is coming

An upcoming software update will fix the colour issues on the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.

According to reports, some owners of Samsung's new Galaxy S24 Ultra have encountered display issues and the company will be issuing a software fix.

Several Reddit users claim the displays on their Galaxy S24 Ultra do not look as vibrant or vivid as the older Galaxy S23 Ultra. There was feedback on the "dull" notification area and "awful" colours on the homepage and app drawer.

Well-known tipster @UniverseIce also compiled a list of complaints from Galaxy S24 Ultra users which include comments that their displays look worse than the Galaxy S23 Ultra

On HardwareZone forums, we noticed several users with similar feedback. One user claims to have the same display settings on the Galaxy S22 Ultra and Galaxy S24 Ultra, but the latter seems "more washed out". Another user said a one-to-one exchange was done for his/her pre-ordered unit due to the display issue.

A Samsung Support representative apparently confirmed in a conversation with a user that the company is aware of the display issues and will issue a software fix.
