Sales of the iPhone XS/XS Max said to be better than the iPhone 8/8 Plus

The Apple iPhone XS and XS Max.

Apple's two OLED iPhone models are off to a good start based on data gathered from over a million apps by Flurry Analytics.

According to the app analysis and tracking service company, the first week sales of the iPhone XS and XS Max beat out the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus. In terms of revenue, Apple is estimated to generate 7% more from iPhone XS sales than from the combined sales of the iPhone X and iPhone 8 Plus in the same period last year. When it comes to market share, the iPhone 7 is the leader of the pack with 15.4% followed by the iPhone 7 Plus (12.73%) and the iPhone 6S (12.40%).

Despite the saturating phone market, Flurry Analytics expects sales of the iPhone XS and XS Max to do well into the holiday season and Apple's strategy of raising prices to keep revenue growing is paying off.
