Revisit the classic MMORPG with Zero Games' mobile title Tears of God

When it comes to MMORPGs, I can't say I've had a lot of experience. After all, the only title I actually dedicated a sizable amount of time to was TERA, and even that was several years ago. Since then, I've just been hopping from title to title like some unsatisfied gaming nomad, and I'm still wandering. 

Perhaps I'll give Zero Games' Tears of God a shot then. It seems to be doing pretty well in Korea since it released in August last year, and the game has just gone global in 119 countries too, with both Google Play and App Store versions available in English, Chinese (Traditional), Spanish and Portuguese. 

Granted, the starting classes aren't as flashy as the Gunner, Ninja, or Blademaster you saw from that other modern MMORPGs - you'll have to make do with the quintessential ones, namely Knight, Archer and Magician. The rest of the formula is as classic as it comes, too - levelling up, forging equipment, summoning pets and joining guilds, among other staple MMORPG features.

Story-wise, the game puts you in the shoes of your regular unassuming hero, who will confront the Demons threatening the Byron Empire. Yes, it's the simple but effective good-versus-evil setup. But what I'm really interested in is the game's extensive Transformation System, which offers more than 110 variations for players to experiment with. Does this mean having different variations of abilities, equipment boosts, sub-classes, or something else entirely? Frankly, I have absolutely no idea what this entails either, so there's only one way to find out.
