After announcing the gaming phone just two weeks ago, Redmagic's 9S Pro is now available globally – although the higher-end Pro+ remains exclusive to China.

The Redmagic 9S Pro is built around an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, that is guaranteed to run almost any games thrown at it including the recently launched Zenless Zone Zero. Fuelling the phone is a 6,500mAh battery with 80W fast wired charging.

One of the key gaming features of the Redmagic 9S Pro is its 520Hz frequency shoulder triggers, which works great for shooter games. These triggers have a 90% increase in touch area and improved sweat-resistance over the previous model, and even have customisable RGB effects. The display's 2000Hz touch sampling rate and 7.4ms response time should provide a smooth and responsive gaming experience too.

The Redmagic 9S Pro is available in two memory configurations: a 12GB RAM with 256GB storage variant, and a 16GB RAM with 512GB storage option. The 12/256 GB version comes in Sleet or Frost colours and is priced at S$979 in Singapore. The 16/512 GB version, available in Snowfall or Cyclone, is priced at S$1,199. While the Frost variant will be released in mid-September, the other versions are available for pre-order starting from 23 July.

There is an early bird offer running until 30 July, where placing a deposit of S$1 will earn buyers a promo code worth S$30 for any purchase on redmagic.gg.
