If you wanted a powerful gaming smartphone but weren't keen on the Redmagic 10 Pro's appearance, you're in luck.
Redmagic has just announced the Redmagic 10 Pro Lightspeed edition, which features a more tasteful white rear cover that looks sleeker. It looks less like a gaming phone with RGB lights spilling out of every port, unlike its original gamer-centric version it's based upon.
Nothing has changed internally. The phone still has the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, LPDDR5X RAM, and the in-house-developed RedCore 3 chip, which is supposed to enhance AI-powered interpolation for smoother gameplay.
The Redmagic 10 Pro Lightspeed sports the same 6.85-inch AMOLED display that supports up to 144Hz refresh rate, 2,000-nits peak brightness and super thin bezels. The 7,050mAh dual-cell battery inside will provide plenty of power for long gaming sessions, and the support for 100W wired fast charging will make sure the phone is always ready to go.

There's no need to worry about thermals with the phone either since it has the ICE X cooling system inside, which uses liquid metal and advanced graphene and copper insulation to keep the phone cool to the touch, even during intensive use.
The phone will come with Android 15, packaged under Redmagic's Magic OS 10 skin.
The Redmagic 10 Pro Lightspeed will be available only in the 12GB+256GB variant and priced at S$999. It was launched in China but will go on sale globally and in Singapore from 13 January 2025 onwards, with general availability from 18 January.
