Realme 9i makes its first appearance in Vietnam
The Realme 9i entry-level handset is now officially available, but it’s making one of its first pit stop in Vietnam.
First spotted by GSMArena, the Realme 9i appeared in an online listing on a Vietnamese smartphone e-commerce platform. The phone offers a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 entry-level chipset (per its spec sheet), with a retail price of VND 6,490,000 (~S$386.87).
The Realme 9i prioritises the basics of smartphone features. There’s a 6.6-inch, FHD+ IPS LCD with 90Hz refresh rate, triple rear cameras led by a 50MP, f/1.8 aperture primary shooter (along with a 2MP macro and 2MP black-and-white camera), a 5,000mAh battery, and 33W wired fast charging. It comes with a reskinned Android 11 out of the box.
While it comes with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM by default, the Realme 9i offers RAM Expansion, using internal storage as virtual RAM and boosting it to a total of 11GB. Its 128GB storage is also expandable via MicroSD card, up to 1TB.
Another surprising feature is its 180Hz touch sampling rate, offering a more responsive browsing experience.
