Razer’s latest Nommo Pro speaker system brings quality audio to your desktop
Razer has just launched what they’re billing "The Ultimate 2.1 Speaker system” - the Razer Nommo Pro. Said to be engineered to gamers with sensing environmental factors, the speaker system consists of two full-range speaker units matched to one downward firing subwoofer and features independent tweeters with enhanced highs to catch even the tiniest in-game detail.
The system is THX certified, and includes Dolby Virtual Speaker technology so you can get simulated 5.1 surround sound for all your movies, and the full-range speakers use a combination of silk dome tweeters and Dupont Kevlar drivers for silky smooth highs and smooth mid-range sound. Of course, the lows are taken care off by the cylindrical subwoofer that uses its downward firing capabilities to ensure even bass delivery.
A control pod places volume and source controls within reach, and the system features USB, Optical, Bluetooth and the typical 3.5mm jack options for connecting to your favorite sources. A dedicated Nommo Pro app is available on Android and iOS for easy EQ adjustments from your phone, and there’s of course the Razer Synapse 3 software for doing so from your desktop.
For those of you who love your PC lighting effects, the Razer Nommo Pro will fit right in too, as it’s powered by Razer Chroma, giving you a choice of 16.8 million colors.
The Razer Nommo Pro is shipping now from Razer.com S$799.90, and will be available from all major retailers in the coming weeks.
