Razer expands gaming peripherals with new Pikachu and Eevee-inspired lineup

Razer, the renowned brand specialising in gaming peripherals, has just introduced a fresh wave of Pokemon-inspired products to its portfolio. This recent collaboration pays homage to two immensely popular characters from the Pokemon franchise - Pikachu and Eevee, adding a vibrant twist to Razer's BlackWidow V3 Tenkeyless keyboard, and Gigantus V2 mat in two sizes.

Razer's history of partnering with the Pokemon brand has typically revolved around Pikachu, the franchise's most iconic character. However, the latest collaboration has brought into the spotlight Eevee, a fan-favourite known for its multiple evolution forms.

The newly released Pokemon Edition of the BlackWidow V3 Tenkeyless embraces the theme wholeheartedly. Instead of its standard colours, the keyboard sports a lively yellow frame, a tribute to Pikachu, overlaid with light grey and a Poke Ball pattern. Echoing Eevee’s distinct fur colour, the keys are fashioned in cream and brown hues. Complementing the design are the images of Pikachu and Eevee adorning the peripheral keys. While aesthetically distinct, the keyboard retains the same technical features, including Razer’s signature Green keys.

The Gigantus V2 mats also got an exciting upgrade, with the fabric prints taking center stage. The medium-sized mat presents cute representations of Pikachu and Eevee. However, the star of the show is the XXL mat, which includes all eight Eevee forms, making it a must-have for fans.

Although these Pokemon-themed peripherals are already available on the market, the unique branding comes with a substantial price increase. The BlackWidow V3 Tenkeyless Pokemon Edition is pegged at S$299.90.

The medium-sized Pokemon Edition of the Gigantus V2 mat is selling for US$29.99, while the XXL mat, offering the smallest relative premium, is priced at US$44.99. We'll update the article again when we've local prices.
