Razer refreshes its lineup of PC gaming speakers with three new Nommo speaker systems
Razer has just updated its Nommo lineup of PC gaming speakers with three new speaker systems. Dubbed the Nommo V2, this new lineup of speakers was designed for desktop gaming with prices starting at S$249.90.
Let's start with the top dog, the Nommo V2 Pro. This is a 2.1 speaker system that consists of two compact desktop satellite speakers and a single subwoofer. It supports THX Spatial Audio.
The satellites each feature a single 3-inch full-range driver while the subwoofer has a single 5.5-inch down-firing woofer. The satellites feature rear-projection Razer Chroma lighting effects.
What makes the Nommo V2 Pro stand out from the rest of the lineup is that its subwoofer is wireless and that it comes with a wireless control pod for quick and easy volume adjustment and swapping between EQ profiles.
Next up is the Razer Nommo V2, the mid-range model of the lineup. Like the Pro version, this system also consists of two 3-inch satellites and a single 5.5-inch subwoofer. It also supports THX Spatial Audio and Razer Chroma on the satellites. The main differences are that the subwoofer is wired and it does come with the wireless control pod.
The most affordable model in the range is the Nommo V2 X. This system only consists of two 3-inch satellites – there's no subwoofer. It also doesn't come with the wireless control pod and lacks Razer Chroma support. However, it still supports THX Spatial Audio.
In terms of inputs, all the Nommo V2 speakers support Bluetooth and digital via USB-C. There are no analogue inputs of any sort.
Pricing and availability
The Razer Nommo V2 speakers are all available now. The Nommo V2 X is priced at S$249.90, while the Nommo V2 is S$419.90, and the Nommo V2 Pro is S$669.90.
You can find them on the Razer Online Store.
