In the context of modern video games, making sure that your setups have a good graphics card and processor is only half the battle won. There's also the issue of accessories and audio, and if you intend to draw out the best experiences from your games, it goes without saying you'll need gear that can perform at that level, like Razer's trio of new Barracuda gaming headsets.

Designed with a "street" aesthetic in mind and loaded with a slew of powerful features, the Barracuda, Barracuda Pro and Barracuda X are well-equipped to handle everything from kids' shows on YouTube to the most intense AAA shooters on the market. Granted, the Barracuda X isn't exactly a new addition per se, but Razer has apparently revised its design and features to match its counterparts. So let's take a look at what each member of this deep-sea predator trio has to offer.

First up on the list is the Barracuda, which sports Razer's TriForce Titanium 50mm drivers and THX Spatial Audio to deliver powerful, punchy audio across a wide variety of games and genres. Additionally, it also has an integrated Beamforming microphone (with noise cancellation) and Razer SmartSwitch Dual Wireless connectivity, so you can enjoy up to 40 hours of high-performance audio and voice chat on a single charge.

Up next is the Barracuda Pro, a nifty hybrid headset that rolls with the lifestyle giant's new TriForce Bio-Cellulose 50mm audio drivers. This, coupled with its Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation Technology and in-built world-class THX Achromatic Audio Amplifier allows it to deliver pure and undiluted soundscapes with immense precision. Naturally, these features are backed up by the same THX Spatial Audio and Razer SmartSwitch Dual Wireless connectivity as the regular Barracuda headset.

Last but not least is the refurbished Barracuda X headset, which comes in Mercury (white) and Quartz (pink) colourations, as shown above. Equipped with a detachable HyperClear cardioid microphone, 40mm Razer Triforce Drivers and support for 7.1 Surround Sound, along with full Bluetooth support (via Razer SmartSwitch Dual Wireless) and an enhanced 50-hour battery life, the new Barracuda X aims to be the perfect lightweight all-round multi-platform gaming headset.

As for pricing and availability, all three of these Barracuda models are already available through the Razer stores on Shopee and Lazada. According to the release from Razer, the vanilla Barracuda has a MSRP of S$264.90, while the Barracuda Pro and Barracuda X variants are priced at S$409.90 and S$159.90 respectively.
