Regardless of whether you're a gamer looking to complete their fancy new setup, or a music lover who's scouting around for a solid pair of tune-blasting headphones, we know that finding the right pair is always tricky. Not only are there various trade-offs that have to be made between price and audio quality, but most of the options on the market tend to be specialised for one platform or the other.

And then there's the Razer Barracuda X Multi-Platform Wireless Gaming Headset.

Earlier today, the popular gaming and lifestyle brand released their latest pair of all-in-one wireless headphones, which are not only designed to provide seamless versatility across all gaming platforms, but to do away with pesky connection problems commonly associated with Bluetooth-paired audio devices. Additionally, setup is easy and painless with the Razer HyperSpeed Wireless USB-C Dongle, which unlike many other headphones, doesn't require users to trawl through tedious software installations or updates. Just hook up the dongle with your desired PC, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch or mobile device, put the Barracuda X on and you're all set to enjoy immersive, pulse-pounding audio. Of course, there's also a standard-issue 3.5mm audio jack for users who might prefer an analog connection - anything is fair game for this pair of do-it-all headphones.

On the outside, the Barracuda X sports a sleek, ergonomic and lightweight design, plush memory foam ear cups and a thick, soft headband, meaning that users certainly won't be wanting for comfort. The former can also be swivelled and adjusted according to user preferences, offering a nice degree of customisability that pairs well with the headphones' reduced bulk and clean-cut profile.

Meanwhile, beneath the surface of those unassuming earcups, the Barracuda X headphones also come equipped with powerful Razer Tri-Force 40mm drivers and a Discord-certified Razer HyperClear Cardioid microphone, promising crystal-clear audio and voice functions that aren't just easy to set up for gaming sessions, but can even be used as your everyday pair of headphones as well. In fact, even the aforementioned microphone has undergone extensive design reviews - it not only features enhanced voice isolation and input sensitivity, but balances the latter out with the latest external audio-cancelling technology.
