Random shutdown of Pixel 3a and 3a XL affecting some users

The Google Pixel 3a XL.

The Pixel 3a series are barely in the market for a month and there are reports of the devices randomly shutting down.

Several users on Reddit claim that their Pixel 3a and 3a XL devices are having random shutdowns and require a hard reset of holding the power button down for about 30 seconds before they turn back on.

One user claimed to have experienced 3 shutdowns in a single night and despite rebooting it in "Safe Mode", the same issue occurred the following day. Another user said the phone tends to shut down randomly when left to idle for 10 minutes and connected to his office's Wi-Fi network.

Google has yet to comment on the matter and there seems to be no fix at the moment. Do you face the same issue? Share in the comment section below.
