Qualcomm's new Bluetooth chips have integrated hybrid ANC technology

The Qualcomm QCC514X (premium tier) and QCC304X (entry/mid-tier) chips.

Qualcomm just announced its next generation of Bluetooth chips which come with integrated hybrid noise-cancellation (ANC) technology, TrueWireless Mirroring and ultra low-power consumption. 

Designed specifically for use in true wireless earbuds and hearables, the Qualcomm QCC514X is catered for the premium tier while the Qualcomm QCC304X is targeted at the entry and mid-tier segments.

Both Bluetooh chips have dedicated ANC hardware that deliver super-low latency leak-through of the outside environment to allow for truly natural awareness of the surroundings. This is similiar to the transparency modes on some noise-cancelling earbuds like the AirPods Pro.

The TrueWireless Mirroring technology allows one earbud to be wirelessly connected to the phone via Bluetooth while the other bud mirrors the connected bud and is designed to deliver a rapid swap under different scenarios. For example, the mirroring bud takes over the connection to the phone if you remove the connected bud from your ear so as to avoid any disruption to music streaming or an active voice call.

The QCC514X and QCC304X can deliver up to 13 hours' of playtime based on 65mAh battery, depending on the settings, use cases and other factors. While the QCC514X boasts dedicated support for Always on Voice activation for different voice ecosystems, the QCC304X offer push-button voice activation.
