Qualcomm just announced its latest 7-series 5G mobile platform, the Snapdragon 750G.

The Snapdragon 750G comes with the X52 5G modem which supports both mmWave and sub-6GHz, SA and NSA modes, TDD, FDD, and Dynamic Spectrum Sharing (DSS), global roaming and global multi-SIM.

Qualcomm claims the Snapdragon 750G delivers up to 20% better performance compared to the Snapdragon 730G, with Cortex A77 cores at up to 2.2GHz and Cortex A55 cores at up to 1.8GHz. The Adreno 619 GPU enables up to 10% better graphics rendering compared to the Snapdragon 730G.

It also has the latest 5th-gen Qualcomm AI engine, which can enable smart camera and video, voice translation, advanced AI-based imaging, and AI-enhanced gaming experiences.

The Snapdragon 750G supports true HDR gaming, 120Hz on-device display, 4K HDR video capture, up to 192MP capture for photography, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and the new AptX Adaptive audio codec.

Consumer devices powered by the Snapdragon 750G mobile platform are expected to hit the market by the end of the year.
