Purported renders reveal the design of the Nothing Phone (2)
Nothing's upcoming phone has been revealed in several renders.
In collaboration with tipster @OnLeaks, smartprix published several purported renders of the Nothing Phone (2) which are said to be based on live photos of a testing unit.
Compared to the Nothing Phone 1, the upcoming model is seen with an updated lighting design around the camera module and right side. In addition, the Nothing Phone (2) seems to have an upgraded dual-LED configuration.
The wireless charging lights are now in smaller strips, which should offer the option to custom the lighting arouind the wireless charging area.
The Nothing Phone (2) is said to have a subtle curve on the back for a more ergonomic feel. The front display also adopts a 2.5D design for a seamless and immersive viewing experience.
The tipster also shared that the Nothing Phone (2) has a lower carbon footprint; it has 3x more recycled or bio-based materials, and come with a plastic-free package. The aluminum chassis is made up of 100% recycled materials with 100% renewable energy.
Nothing has confirmed two specs for the device. It is guaranteed to come with three years of Android OS updates and four years of security updates. The Nothing Phone (2)will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.
Other rumoured specs include 8GB/12GB RAM configurations, a primary rear 50MP camera with OIS, an in-display fingerprint sensor and a 5,000mAh battery.
