Purported dummy units offer first looks at Apple iPhone 15 lineup
While it is still months away from the launch of the Apple iPhone 15, a set of purported dummy units has shown up on YouTube detailing the design changes.
MacRumours managed to get their hands on a set of iPhone 15 dummy units and shared their observations. The Lightning port on all four dummy units is replaced by the USB-C port. The corners of the iPhone 15 models are slightly rounder than the current iPhone 14 lineup. All four models come with a frosted glass back, which corroborates rumours of the frosted glass coming to the non-Pro models.
The iPhone 15 Pro dummy units still show a unified volume button, which might not be the final design as Apple reportedly ran into "design issues" for the solid-state buttons. The mute switch on the dummy units has been replaced by a button, which some reports calling it the action button.
Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 15 in September. An analysts claims Apple might increase the prices of the iPhone 15 Pro models due to the use of a titanium chassis, periscope lens, and increased RAM.
