PSA: The first thing you do today should be to update your Flash player (like, now)

Not to make you worried, but actually, you should be worried. You might have heard about the massive hack on the hacking outfit Hacking Team (yes, irony) last week - one of the 'things' that was stolen was a "zero-day" exploit for Adobe Flash. That meant that hackers, taking advantage of this exploit, could run and install malicious malware on PCs and Macs running Flash, and there was really nothing anyone could do about it.

The exploit affected Flash Player 18.0.0.194 and earlier. Adobe has just issued an emergency update for Flash (version 18.0.0.203) and you should totally go and run that update now.
