With a dash of minimalist design, a pinch of performance, and a big splash of class, the Porsche Design Acer Book RS is born, the product of a style-meets-substance collaboration between German automaker Porsche and Acer

Sporting a durable 3k carbon-fiber cover over a sleek, diamond-cut CNC-machined chassis, it's easy to assume that this fancy-looking notebook trades in performance for aesthetics. But as the saying goes,  looks can be deceiving - inside its 1.2kg chassis, the notebook sports an NVIDIA GeForce MX350 GPU and Intel's latest 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processors. To top the visual package off, the RS's 14-inch IPS touchscreen display also sports ultra-narrow bezels too, allowing for immersive experiences via a 90% screen-to-body ratio, as well as a layer of Antimicrobial Corning Gorilla Glass for added protection.

Rounding it all up is a nifty suite of accessories, which include the Porsche Design Acer Travelpack RS (mousepad, mouse, carrying pouch, and notebook sleeve). The pouch itself is made from hardy ECCO PALERMO XA Leather, and the water and scratch-resistant 1680D fabric notebook sleeve can also double as a mousepad for added efficiency. Finally, the hybrid Bluetooth/wireless mouse, which features a three-sensitivity DPI switch, also has its left-mouse button reinforced with carbon fiber like the notebook cover, making for an aesthetically pleasing yet highly durable setup for on-the-go use.

Acer did not disclose the notebook's availability and pricing yet, and we will update this article as soon as we get those information.
