Pokémon Go is downloaded over 100 million times with $10 million daily revenue

Despite a pause in the global rollout of the app, Pokémon Go still managed to bring in massive download numbers and revenue.

According to App Annie, Pokémon Go has been installed over 100 million times since its launch in July. Just a week earlier, mobile data intelligence firm Sensor Tower estimated that there were over 75 million downloads on Android and iOS. In addition, it is still generating over US$10 million in daily revenue from Android and iOS apps.

Pokémon Go's success is unprecedented; it has the most downloads in the first week of launch on Apple's App Store and is predicted to help Apple generate over US$3 billion in revenue over a two-year period.
