Plantronics’ latest wireless BackBeat headphones are all available for less than S$300 each!

First announced at IFA 2019, the latest Plantronics BackBeat headphones are for sale from local distributors now. The new additions to the family are the BackBeat Fit 6100, Fit 5100, Fit 3200, and Fit 3150.

The BackBeat Fit 6100 is the only one that features over-the-head wearing style. They are IPX5-rated to be resistant against water and perspiration. The earcups provide some form of noise-isolation and the headphones are touted to have up to 24 hours of battery life. The BackBeat Fit 6100 has a SRP of S$299. According to Plantronics Singapore, for retail store channels, the BackBeat Fit 6100 is exclusive to Challenger Technologies Pte. Ltd..

The BackBeat Fit 3200 and Fit 3150 in-ear headphones are almost identical in design.

The Fit 3200 feature ear tips that provide some noise-isolation while the Fit 3150’s ear tips are designed to let in ambient surrounding noise for awareness. Both in-ear headphones feature the same drivers, so it’s their respective eartips that are responsible for the wearer’s audio experience. The BackBeat Fit 3200 and Fit 3150 each have the same SRP of S$249 .

The BackBeat Pro 5100 are touted as the company’s first true wireless headphones from its BackBeat Pro line. They boast of four noise-canceling mics and WindSmart technology for call clarity, and the headphones have a battery life of 6.5 hours, with additional 13 hours from the charging case. The in-ear headphones are lightweight, i.e., each ear bud weighs only 5.6 grams and their on-ear controls allow for customizable tap operations. The BackBeat Pro 5100 have a SRP of S$269.
