Days after a user manual of the Sony Xperia C5 Ultra leaked, Russian site Hi-Tech.Mail.ru managed to get hold of the Xperia C5 Ultra and the M5 for a hands-on session.

According to Hi-Tech.Mail.ru, the Xperia C5 Ultra will sport a 6-inch 1080p display with screen bezels of just 0.8mm thin! It is reportedly just a tad bigger than the 5.5-inch Apple iPhone 6 Plus. Like the HTC Desire Eye, the Xperia C5 Ultra will have a 13-megapixel camera sensor on the front and back. The front camera also will come with flash!

Other specs of the Xperia C5 Ultra include a MediaTek MT6752 octa-core 1.7GHz processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage with microSD card support, a glossy plastic back, aluminum frame, a 2,930mAh battery, NFC, dual-SIM support and three colors (black, white and mint).

The Xperia M5 is equipped with a smaller 5-inch 1080p display, but will be powered by the latest MediaTek Helio X10 chipset with 3GB RAM. Its key selling point appears to revolve around its imaging hardware which include a 21.5-megapixel rear camera, f/2.2 aperture, hybrid autofocus, fast autofocusing in 0.2 seconds, 5x zoom with no loss in image quality, 4K video recording and a front-facing 13-megapixel camera.

Besides the 16GB internal storage and microSD expansion, the Xperia M5 boasts a 2,600 battery with two-day battery life, a 7.6mm thin chassis, IP65/68 rating for water and dust resistance, capless USB port, and three colors (black, silver and gold).

Both devices could be announced tomorrow (3rd August); Sony posted a teaser on Twitter stating that "a new way to capture split-second photos is coming".
