The frantic multiplayer cooking game is back! Kinda.

Announced during Summer Game Fest’s Day of the Devs event, Overcooked! and Overcooked! 2 are getting bundled together, with a whole bunch of extras included for returning players. Watch the trailer below:

The new version of both games is titled Overcooked! All You Can Eat. This game comes with cross-platform online multiplayer, which means you can game with friends across different devices. It also remasters every level from the original games in full 60 FPS and 4K resolution. That seems a little premature - but I’ll take it.

There are a few additions to gameplay as well. Overcooked! All You Can Eat will have seven new levels, three new chefs and more achievements to unlock, totalling up to over 200 levels. The game is also getting an ‘assist mode’, which lets players slow down order timeouts, increase the length of matches and skip levels entirely if they so wish. An 'easy mode', basically.

Overcooked! is a cooking simulation game that plays more like a frantic platformer, which gets even more chaotic when played with friends. It has exploded in popularity on the Nintendo Switch, as a fun albeit potentially violent party game. Overcooked! All You Can Eat will launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X later this year, with faster loading times.
