Oppo's next Find X among the first phones to use Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G

While Qualcomm announced its 2021 flagship-tier Snapdragon 888 5G mobile platform, Oppo took the opportunity to confirm that its upcoming Find X series phones will be among the first to use the new chipsets.

Expected to launch globally in Q1 2021, the upcoming Find X series will also push the boundaries of display and camera technologies with Oppo's proprietary Android's first 10-bit Full-Path Colour Management System.

Oppo has been a pioneer and promoter of 5G. It has launched several phone models powered by Snapdragon 5G mobile platforms such as the Oppo Reno 5G. It also collaborated with Qualcomm Technologies and Ericsson to win the "Best 5G Network Deployment in Europe" award for the Reno 5G.

Other brands that are also getting ready to put out a Snapdragon 888 powered smartphone are ASUS, Black Shark, Lenovo, LG, Meizu, Motorola, Nubia, Realme, OnePlus, Oppo, Sharp, Vivo, Xiaomi and ZTE. However, only Oppo has come forth to identify which phone series will carry the 2021 flagship mobile processor from Qualcomm.
