Oppo's entry-level A37 selfie smartphone looks just like an iPhone

Oppo has just released the A37, an entry-level smartphone that bears an uncanny resemblance to an iPhone 6. The phone is aimed at selfie lovers with an enhanced 5-megapixel front-facing camera with a 1/4-inch sensor and 1.4 μm pixel-size for bright and natural-looking selfies, even when taken at night.

The A37 also has a Screen Flash feature, which emits a flash from the display to light up low-light selfies. Complementing the A37's front camera is Oppo's Beautify 4.0 technology, which now supports seven different levels of intelligent beautification, with two modes for different skin tones.

On the rear, the A37 sports an 8 MP rear camera with a 1/3.2-inch back-illuminated sensor and the same large 1.4μm pixels as the front camera to maximize light sensitivity and minimize noise.

The A37 has a magnesium aluminum alloy frame, and weighs 136g. The phone has a 5-inch HD display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 Processor with 2GB RAM. You also get 16GB internal storage with a microSD card slot supporting cards up to 128GB.

The A37 is available now in Gold and Rose Gold and retails for S$289 from Oppo concept stores and all telcos.
