Days after announcing an all-screen phone with pop-up cameras, Oppo took the wraps off a pair of truly wireless earbuds, the O-Free.

Priced at 699 yuan (~S$144), the O-Free earbuds have a battery life of about four hours and its carrying case can recharge the earbuds three times. In total, the O-Free earbuds and the carrying case offer a battery mileage of up to 16 hours. In comparison, the Apple AirPods offer battery life of up to 5 hours and the carrying case holds multiple additional charges for about 24 hours of listening time.

The O-Free earbuds feature a design that fits deeper into the ear canal, which is possibly a better fit for consumers who find the AirPods a tad loose on their ears. The O-Free earbuds come with translation features, integrated volume controls and a voice assistant for music control.

The O-Free earbuds hit retail shelves in China in August and will be bundled with the Lamborghini edition of the Find X smartphone.
