Oppo Reno 2 comes with four rear cameras and 5x hybrid zoom
Four months after announcing the Reno and Reno 10x Zoom, Oppo today unveiled the Reno2 series which consist of 3 models: the Reno2, Reno2 F and Reno2 Z.
All three models come with four rear cameras although the specs differ from model to model. The Reno2 has a Sony IMX586 48MP f/1.7 primary sensor, an 8MP 119° ultra-wide angle lens, a 13MP f/2.4 telephoto lens, and a 2MP mono lens. The Reno2 Z keeps the same 48MP primary and 8MP ultra-wide angle lenses, but replaces the telephoto and mono lens with two 2MP lenses. The Reno2 F has a 48MP sensor (of a different model, likely to be the Samsung ISOCELL G1), an 8MP wide angle lens and two 2MP lenses.
The three Reno2 models also come with 6.5-inch AMOLED displays, pop-up selfie cameras, and 4,000mAh batteries with support for VOOC 3.0 fast charging. The Reno2 runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G with 8GB RAM and has 256GB internal storage space. The Reno2 Z is powered by a MediaTek Helio P90 chipset with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storag space. The Reno2 F is equipped with a MediaTek Helio P70 chipset with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage space.
The Oppo Reno2 and Reno2 Z are priced at ₹36,990 (~S$715) and ₹29,990(~S$580) respectively. Pricing for the Reno2 F is not available at the moment.
