Oppo and bug bounty leader HackerOne announced a partnership to improve the security of the former's products and services.

The partnership includes the launch of a private, invite-only bug bounty program hosted on HackerOne. A select group of trusted security reseachers will be invited to search for security vulnerabilities in exchange for a reward. There is also a plan for a public bug bounty program.

By working with HackerOne, Oppo hopes to enhance cybersecurity for its 320 million monthly active users of ColorOS and support the global security research community.

HackerOne has more than 1,750 customer programs around the world, which include the U.S Department of Defense, Google, Microsoft, MINDEF Singapore, Qualcomm, Starbucks and Dropbox.
