Oppo launches Oppo Premium Service, an after-sales VIP and protection package for Oppo Find X3 Pro users

Oppo Find X3 Pro users with their new flagship-grade handsets now have another reason to rejoice. Today (5 April 2021), Oppo launched the Oppo Premium Service, an after-sales VIP and protection package that provides device coverage and extra assistance to owners with high-end Oppo phones.

"Oppo has taken the lead to launch the International Warranty Service (IWS) and expanded its coverage area to 59 countries and regions this year. This will allow Find X3 Series owners to enjoy warranty, repair and software upgrade services at any of OPPO authorised service centres in the selected countries and regions," said Oppo's official statement.

Oppo Premium Service comes with the following after-sales coverage and add-ons:

  • Oppo Care (costs S$79), screen coverage and protection of up to 12 months and S$0 service fee
  • International Warranty Service, with device maintenance and free software upgrades at official service centres worldwide
  • 1TB of Oppo Cloud Space for online storage for one year
  • An exclusive, 24/7 VIP hotline for users (800 852 6880) with specialists on-call to answer questions about your Oppo device
  • Premium Lane, where users get to skip queues and gain priority servicing at official Oppo service centres
  • Loan phone (currently an Oppo Reno4 handset), subject to availability

There are a bunch of interesting terms in the Oppo Premium Service FAQ and T&Cs - for example, Oppo Care's screen protection also covers cracked screens, and the 1TB cloud storage can expire if you do not manually renew in time. If you're getting the service, it's best to be sure by reading it in detail.

Currently, Oppo Premium Service in Singapore applies to Oppo Find X3 Pro and its owners. Other qualifying handsets will depend on Oppo's decision to make it more widespread down the line.

The first 3,000 customers of the Oppo Find X3 Pro phone are entitled to 40% of the Oppo Care component of Oppo Premium Service. Oppo Care originally goes at S$79.

The Oppo service is similar to other phone brand's premium after-sales care packages, like AppleCare+ and Samsung Care+ (previously Samsung Concierge).
