Oppo Enco Air appeals to callers and gamers alike, now available in SG

Oppo launched plenty of true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds over the years, with the higher-end Oppo Enco X launching earlier in February. Now, there's an updated alternative for mainstream, casual TWS users, and it's none other than the Oppo Enco Air going at just S$99.

Different price points aside, the Oppo Enco Air caters to a different type of user when compared to its more expensive Enco X. If you value clear-sounding calls and low-latency audio performance while gaming, the Enco X is a better fit between the two.

Enco Air offers what Oppo calls "intensive AI call noise-cancellation technology" that grants clearer-than-normal calls and voice chat, thanks to Oppo's proprietary audio algorithm that prioritises and reproduces in-person human voice. Separately, the Enco Air also offers Game Mode, a low-latency, dual-transmission audio profile that offers a minimal 80ms delay in audio lag (regular TWS have audio delays of anywhere between 100 to 300ms). In fact, the low delay netted the Enco Air a High Performance/Low Latency Certificate for true wireless earphones from TÜV Rheinland.

Oppo Enco Air packs support for Bluetooth 5.2, which offers more stable signals even in multi-device environments. As a TWS, it also offers 24 hours playback time (buds and casing combined) with eight hours of playback on a 10-minute charge, making it an ideal buddy for a commute.

The Enco Air itself uses 12mm, titanium-composite dynamic drivers to deliver its sound. It also packs a power bass booster (bass-enhancing ducts) to deliver a balance between strong bass frequencies and clean mid-range and treble tones.

Other features are its quick pairing, which instantly pairs to a connected device once the casing lid's open, and customisable touch controls with a voice assistant. In a nutshell, the Oppo Enco Air offers plenty for its price.

The Oppo Enco Air is available now at physical Oppo's concept stores islandwide and its online channels - Shopee and Lazada. Again, it's priced at S$99. You can learn more about the TWS on its official web page.
