Oppo announces new update policy for select flagship phones in 2023

Oppo announced a new ColorOS update policy for select flagship phones in 2023.

The company is committed to delivering four major ColorOS updates with 5 years of security patches for global users on selected flagship models from 2023. The current policy promises three major Android versionupdates and four years of security patches for Find X series phones.

Oppo also shared that the rollout of ColorOS 13 is the fastest and biggest in the history of its mobile platform. Since its official release on 18 August, ColorOS 13 has been rolled out to 33 smartphone models globally. Over 50% more phone models were compatible with ColorOS 13 compared with ColorOS 12.
