OnePlus will add these five most popular user-submitted features to OxygenOS

Staying true to its spirit of "Never Settle" and listening to users to improve its products, OnePlus will be bringing these five features to OxygenOS in the future. These features were submitted by the OnePlus community as part of a campaign to improve OxygenOS.

The first feature is whitelisting apps in Zen Mode so that users can stay focused while also being more efficient. Zen Mode is similar to Google's Digital Wellbeing feature where the phone cannot be operated and all incoming notifications muted for 20 minutes. Users have requested a whitelist to include calculator and contacts.

The second feature is to have folders within the app drawer. While there is a search bar for users to find apps within the app drawer, users feel it is better to have the option to create folders within the app drawer so that the apps are more organised.

The third feature is to have a sound notification when the battery is fully charged. OnePlus says it will be putting the sound reminder as an advanced option, not a default setting.

The fourth feature is to enable fingerprint authentication for hidden photos in the Gallery app. Users like the extra layer of security for sensitive photos when someone else is browsing through their albums.

The fifth feature is an Always-On Display, which OnePlus acknowledged that it has been working on it for some time. Its latest power consumption tests on the feature have passed and is on the roadmap! OnePlus says it is still fine-tuning the feature to make sure it is perfectly optimised.

You can check out the other 15 popular user-submitted features that did not make the cut on the Ideas Program website.
