OnePlus is tipped to launch its second smartwatch at MWC 2024 next month.

Tipster @MaxJmb claims on X (formerly known as Twitter) that the OnePlus Watch 2 will debut at the annual trade show and it runs Google's Wear OS.

To recap, OnePlus' first smartwatch was announced in March 2021 and shipped with a custom "RTOS" OS instead of Wear OS. It has a 1.39-inch OLED screen and a battery life of up to two weeks.

So how different would the OnePlus Watch 2 be? Purported renders of the smartwatch indicate that OnePlus will retain the circular dial and that it will have metal cases.

The OnePlus Watch 2 is said to sport a larger 1.43-inch AMOLED screen, and it will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 and run Wear OS 4.

It would be interesting to see what new features OnePlus is bringing to the smartwatch table, especially since it's been nearly three years since the OnePlus watch.
