OnePlus unveils two new phones, the OnePlus 10R and Nord CE 2 Lite 5G
OnePlus just announced two new smartphones, the OnePlus 10R and OnePlus CE 2 Lite 5G.
The OnePlus 10R is essentially the global variant of the OnePlus Ace which was unveiled in China. It is available in two models, an Endurance Edition and a Standard Edition. Both models have a customised smart charging chip for safe ultra-fast charging.
The Endurance Edition model supports 150W SuperVOOC fast charging, which the company claims to recharge the 4,500mAh battery from 1% to 30% in just 3 minutes, and from 1% to 100% in 17 minutes! It has a smart battery health algorithm and healing technology to ensure the battery retains 80% of its capacity after 1,600 charge cycles, which is twice the industry standard of 800 cycles.
The Standard Edition model supports 80W SuperVOOC fast charging which recharges the 5,000mAh battery from 1% to 100% in 32 minutes. Powering the OnePlus 10R are an exclusive MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max chipset, 8/12GB RAM and OxygenOS 12.1 based on Android 12.
Other specs include up to 256GB internal storage space options, a built-in 3D passive cooling system, a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, a 50MP f/1.8 main camera with 8MP fixed-focus ultra-wide camera, 2MP macro camera, and a 16MP front-facing camera.
The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 and a 5,000mAh battery which supports 33W SuperVOOC fast charging.
It sports a 6.58-inch IPS LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate, a 64MP main camera with two 2MP cameras, and a 16MP front-facing camera.
The OnePlus 10R and Nord CE 2 Lite 5G will be available in India from 4 May and 30 April respectively.
