OnePlus ran a one-week flash sale at the start of the month for its flagship smartphone and received an overwhelming response, which in turn prompted the company to offer two new promotions!

According to OnePlus, the OnePlus One flagship smartphone is priced at US$249 (16GB Silk White) and US$299 (64GB Sandstone Black) permanently. Previously, both models were selling at US$299 and US$349 respectively.

In addition, consumers who purchase the 64GB model will be offered a free one-year Dropbox Pro subscription where 1TB of cloud storage space can be used to backup, sync and share files across devices of various platforms. This promotion starts from 10th June, and is limited to the U.S, Canada and EU

The company is expected to launch the next generation flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 2 sometime next quarter. There are also reports of a more affordable model arriving before the end of the year. Nonetheless, the OnePlus One is still a good buy for consumers who do not need the latest and the greatest tech toys.
