The OnePlus Nord comes with a 90Hz display, four rear cameras and 5G
OnePlus finally announced its first midrange phone model in five years, the OnePlus Nord.
The OnePlus Nord sports a 6.44-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels and aspect ratio of 20:9. In addition, the display supports 90Hz refresh rate which should deliver a smooth user experience.
The company chose to power the OnePlus Nord with Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G with 8GB or 12GB RAM, OxygenOS 10.5 based on Android 10, and a 4,115mAh battery.
In terms of camera hardware, the OnePlus Nord has four rear cameras (48MP main lens, 8MP ultra-wide lens, 2M macro lens and 5MP depth sensor) and two front-facing cameras (32MP + 8MP ultra-wide). Other specs include 128GB/256GB internal storage space, Bluetooth 5.1, Sub-6GHz 5G connectivity, LTE and a fingerprint sensor.
The OnePlus Nord will be available in blue and gray. The variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage option is priced at €399 while the model with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage option is priced at €499. The company plans to sell the phone in Europe from 4 August. Retail availability in India is slated later this year.
