The OnePlus Fold is tipped to come with several best-in-class hardware.

According to @OnLeaks and mysmartprice, the OnePlus Fold will have a 7.8-inch foldable 2K AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and a 6.3-inch AMOLED cover display with 120Hz refresh rate.

Powering the OnePlus Fold could be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 with 16GB RAM, OxygenOS 13.1 and a 4,800mAh battery. In terms of camera hardware, the OnePlus Fold is said to have a triple-lens system on the rear (48MP primary + 48MP ultra-wide + 64MP telephoto) and two front-facing cameras (32MP on the cover display + 20MP on the main display).

Other rumoured specs include 256GB internal storage space, an alert slider and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Purported renders of the OnePlus Fold were revealed last week.

Since the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 is said to be "the generation with the smallest change in Samsung Folds", OnePlus might have an opportunity to give the market leader a run for its money. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 might come with a new waterdrop hinge mechanism to eliminate the screen crease.
