OnePlus confirms Hasselblad partnership, to unveil new phones on 23 March
OnePlus' teaser for today turns out to be a confirmation of its partnership with Hasselblad and launch event on 23 March.
Posted on its Twitter account, OnePlus claims there will be a brilliant future for mobile photography. It added that the company is "joining forces" with Hasselblad. While many analysts expected a major leap in photography, The Verge thinks otherwise.
The Hasselblad partnership is reportedly a three-year deal to "co-develop the next generation of smartphone camera systems for future OnePlus flagship devices", which includes the upcoming OnePlus 9 Series 5G. The color reproduction of the cameras is expected to be refined to look more natural.
Whatever it is, we will know more about their partnership and the devices on 23 March, 10pm (SGT).
