Besides promising a better invite system and more stock inventory, OnePlus may be planning to sell the OnePlus 2 phones in physical stores in Singapore.

Thanks to a tip-off by one of our readers, we discovered the OnePlus 2's listing on IDA's Equipment Search List. The model name, One A2003, has been reported to be one of the three variants at launch with the support of LTE bands as the main differentiator.

What's even more interesting is the supplier, Mercantile Pacific Asia Pte. Ltd. We did a search on Google and found out that Mercantile Pacific is a firm involved in the import-export business of electronic products including mobile phones and digital cameras. It currently offers wholesale distribution of smartphones from LG, Samsung and Motorola.

While OnePlus had always sold its OnePlus One via its website since launch, it took an extraordinary step in April this year by partnering with Maxis Communications (a Malaysian telco) to sell the phone with and without a contract.

Could this mean that Mercantile Pacific Asia will be distributing the OnePlus 2 to retail stores in Singapore or would OnePlus partner with a telco to sell the phone with a two-year contract? We will know more when the company unveils the phone on 27th July.
