U.K online retailer John Lewis accidentally published official renders of the upcoming Google Pixel 4a 5G smartphone.

The renders show a Pixel 4a smartphone with a "5G" icon in the status bar and the signature wallpaper seen in recent Pixel 5 leaks, which confirm that this is indeed the Pixel 4a 5G. In addition, the renders reveal that the Pixel 4a 5G will come with a polycarbonate design, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a thicker bottom bezel.

Recent rumours suggest the Pixel 4a 5G to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G, 6GB RAM and a 3,800mAh battery. Other purported specs include a 6.2-inch OLED display (2,340 x 1,080 pixels), 12.2MP main camera with a 16MP wide-angle lens, and an 8MP selfie camera.

Google announced the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G in early August, but its official launch is likely to be on 30 September. A live photo of the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G was leaked last month on Reddit.
