NVIDIA hints at something "super" coming at Computex
NVIDIA's Computex press event may hold exciting things in store for gamers. The company posted a teaser video on its GeForce YouTube channel simply titled "something super is coming", although it gave scant details as to what exactly that might be.
The video is basically 16 seconds of close-ups of the word "super" embossed on a metallic surface, followed by what could best be described as a logo design. Maybe "super" is an upcoming brand from NVIDIA? Or perhaps NVIDIA is super-charging its GeForce RTX graphics? It's difficult to say, but there's already a rumor that NVIDIA might implement faster 16Gbps memory (compared to the existing 14Gbps) on its GeForce RTX cards.
With AMD's launch of its Navi-based GPUs looming just over the horizon, NVIDIA may be feeling the need to ensure that its graphics cards retain their lead.
