The NVIDIA Quadro Virtual Workstation is now available on Microsoft Azure Marketplace
Tap onto the advanced GPU processing capabilities of the NVIDIA Quadro Virtual Workstation (Quadro vWS) on Microsoft Azure. All that’s required is a Microsoft Azure account with an active subscription. IT administrators are able to set up a virtual Quadro workstation that is powered by NVIDIA Tesla GPUs.
According to the NVIDIA, this cloud-based setup offers the same benefits as “on-premise VDI deployments.” This on-demand virtual advanced GPU workstation can be configured with different vGPU profiles, up to 24GB of frame buffer per GPU. This is ideal for users of “visual computing platform for professional 3D applications”, without the need for any additional hardware investments.
Once the virtualized workstation is operational, the next step will be software installation on the NVIDIA Quadro vWS by the IT administrator for the intended user. For added convenience, Quadro vWS instances on Tesla GPUs are also supported on Windows Virtual Desktop on Azure.
