If you've been holding off on upgrading to the latest NVIDIA cards or are planning on getting a top of the line gaming notebook, there's no better time to make the plunge than now. If you're a fan of Metal Gear, that goes double for you.

NVIDIA's bundling purchases of their desktop graphics cards (only the GeForce GTX 960, 970, 980 and 980 Ti are eligible) and notebooks with a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970M or 980M with the latest chapter in the Metal Gear saga, The Phantom Pain.

If you're shopping for a graphics card, make sure they're from one of NVIDIA's South East Asian partners.

Only these brands will have the promotion, so choose wisely.

Also, seeing as how NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970M or 980M equipped notebooks are also eligible, here are a couple of great choices in case you're making the plunge.

Even though The Phantom Pain isn't out yet, the promotion's already begun. The Phantom Pain will see release in September, although its prologue, Ground Zeroes, is currently available on most gaming platforms. Like Ground Zeroes, The Phantom Pain will release concurrently on PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC, though the NVIDIA promotion is only for the PC version of the game.

Like all bundled NVIDIA games, The Phantom Pain will be digital only. Valid purchases will come with a digital code that you can redeem on NVIDIA's website.
